The Challenge

The main objective of the project was to enhance the quality of Hacker Valley’s podcast network, increase its production output, and expand its reach and audience engagement. Initially, the leadership team was heavily involved in the day-to-day production of the network. This approach not only imposed a burden on the team but also hindered them from focusing on other crucial areas. To alleviate this issue, the team partnered with a production partner who could manage production, enabling the leadership team to focus on their core strengths.

The Approach

To accomplish this goal, the team pursued several critical initiatives. First, we designated a team of audio and video engineers to aid in production. Then, we met with each show host to advise on the best approach to improving their shows. We designed and built custom sound treatment panels, suggested equipment upgrades, and designated a sound engineer to monitor production. Additionally, we created a two-month backlog to ensure that deadlines were met promptly.

The Strategy

When it came to expanding their reach, our core objective was to focus on SEO to drive organic traffic to their website. First, we identified and resolved various indexing issues, laying the foundation to build an SEO strategy. After creating a list of untapped keywords, we wrote SEO-optimized show notes that led to more inbound traffic to their website. Additionally, we created short-form versions of each episode to promote and market their show on their social media channels.
